The Jogja Trip

Introduction

I went for a study tour to Jogja and the areas surrounding the city with my schoolmates and teachers. The trip lasts from the 5th of October 2015 to the 9th of October 2015.

I arrived in the bus at 6pm. I sat at the back with my classmates and homeroom teacher, Mr. Reagan.; The trip started at 7pm. We chat and had fun in the bus until we stopped at around 9.30pm to go to the restroom. After that, we proceeded and stopped at around 10.30pm to eat. Then, we didn't had another stop.

Candi Borobudur

Some of us couldn't sleep well in the bus. Hence, we sometimes woke up and chat. At around 4.45am, the buses arrived at Manohara hotel, a hotel located near Candi Borobudur. At around 7am, we had breakfast. After breakfast, we gathered in front of the gate of Candi Borobudur. Each class had a class photo and proceeded for the tour. At around 9.30am, we gathered in our own buses. Then, we had lunch at Pesta Perak restaurant. After lunch, we went to Taman Pintar. In Taman Pintar, we studied new things. Then, we headed for Hotel Quality, which was the hotel where we would stay for 2 nights. My roomates were Axell, William, and Jurrien. In the room, we took a shower and rested for a while. At about 5pm, we gathered in the bus and headed for Purawisata. In Purawisata, we watched the Ramayana Ballet and had dinner. After dinner, we went to the hotel and rested.

Pantai Ngandong

At about 7.30am, we gathered in the bus and headed for Pantai Ngandong. At the beach, we took pictures and had fun at the shore. Then, we had our lunch, which was seafood. After lunch, we gathered in the bus and went back to the hotel. In the hotel, we took a shower and prepared ourselves to go to Malioboro. At around 5.30pm, we gathered in the bus and went to Mahkota Resto for dinner. After dinner, we went to Malioboro. In Malioboro, we walked around and bought souvenirs. At around 9pm, we gathered in the bus and went back to the hotel to rest.

Keraton Jogja

Kamis, 8 October 2015

At 9pm, after having breakfast and checkout, we gathered in the bus and went to Keraton Jogja. In Keraton Jogja, we saw the historical pictures, information, and buildings. After that, we had a long journey in the bus and stopped to go to the restroom. At around 3.30pm, we had our lunch in Pring Sewu Resto. Then, we continued our long journey. At around 9.30pm, we had our dinner in Rumah Makan Puja Seda. Then, we continued our long journey. 

Friday, 9 October 2015

At around 12.30am, we finally reached the school. Then, each of us went home.

Conclusion

I suggest that the trip lasts longer next time or we just spend most of the time in the bus, especially in the way to Jogja and going home to Bandung.
