SMPK1 BPK Penabur Open House

Background

SMPK1 BPK Penabur has just recently had an open house. The open house was held for 2 days, they were the 28th and 29th of August 2015. 

The first day celebration was held from 10.00 until 16.00. The second day celebration was held from 08.00 until 14.00. In both days, the open house is very successful as there were many visitors. The visitors includes guests, parents, students and teachers from other schools.

What are the things in the open house?

First of all, there was the opening ceremony. Then, there were dance performances. After that, people could enjoy the class bazaars, programs booths, food stalls, and events.

There were many class bazaars. Most classes made their own bazaars while the other classes made a collaboration. There were 2 classes working together to make a labyrinth. The labyrinth looks inetersting from outside and it is actually full. So, in a given timer, you needed to search for different objects, each for different prize. Other bazaars includes photo booth, saloon, haunted house, games, and many more.

DCP booth

There are 3 prgorams in SMPK1. They are the DCP, Bilingual and Classical. The DCP program had its own booth. Inside, there were practical activities performed by the DCP students. There were also models that the students have made, study tour video and a science quiz.

Main stage

There were many events that took place during the open house. There were the solo singing competition, science explorer competition and many more. There were also performances such as dancing and singing performances at the main stage.

Food stalls

There were many food stalls where you can enjoy various foods. There were stalls selling sausages and fries, fried tofu and tempe, bento, drinks, ice cream, pastries, deserts, etc. The good thing is that most of the prices are reasonable.

Forewords

I'm looking forward to the next open house in the upcoming years because this event is a really good moment for students, parents, teachers and graduates to hang up together. I predict that it will be more successful than this one.
